Short bio:

Dr. Md Foyjul Islam obtained his MBBS degree from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in Bogura, Bangladesh. He serves as a Medical Officer at Bangladesh's Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Dr. Islam is pursuing an MSc in Applied Epidemiology at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) under the University of Dhaka and is an Advanced Fellow of the Field Epidemiology Training Program (9th cohort) in Bangladesh. His research interests focus on non-communicable diseases, particularly women's health, and infectious diseases such as Nipah, anthrax, and rabies.
